We finally made our first trip to Disney World. My husband had to go for business so we tagged along for the ride… and boy was it a long ride! Why was it long? We stayed at the Swan Hotel that had shuttle service to and from the Disney parks so we didn’t rent a car… packing up two kids, two strollers, bags … need I say more? It was a bit chaotic loading and unloading but it was all worth it! There was so many things we wanted to see and do and we did it all! … BUT paid the price with exhaustion!
We visited the Magic Kingdom and attended the Holiday party. My husband goes crazy around crowds so the Holiday party was perfect. The Holiday party runs from 7pm to 12am. And since we live in LA and Florida is 3 hours ahead, it worked out perfectly because I was able to keep the kids on LA time. We woke-up late and went to sleep late.
When I asked my son what his favorite ride was… he said, “the Goofy rollercoaster!” He loved it so much he rode it twice. The firework show was amazing but to me the best part was watching my kids laugh with excitement and smile with pure joy! Stay tuned for more of our family vacation.
